The Tasmanian Alcohol and Other Drugs Conference 2025 will be held on 25-26 June in nipaluna/Hobart.
Come and network with over two hundred fellow delegates, representing a diverse range of professionals who work in, or with, the Tasmanian alcohol and other drugs sector. There will be something for everyone across our workforce with professional development sessions to inspire clinicians, policy makers, people in the lived experience workforce, case managers, leaders and support workers.
This year, our two- day program, as designed by our conference committee, will aim to create an environment where we build knowledge together so when we leave we are better equipped to work with, and advocate for, the Tasmanians we support daily.
You can expect a dynamic mix of keynotes, concurrent sessions, panels and workshops all geared around our eight themes. Our conference themes—prevention, living and lived experience, diversity, integration, treatment and support, harm reduction, reducing stigma and workforce development —reflect the shifts we are wanting to make together towards a more responsive service system, to foster inclusive and data driven policy and governance processes, while also supporting and highlighting the AOD frontline services.
A special part of the program is the presentation of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Sector Awards. The awards celebrate and amplify the strength and speciality of the sector and the celebrate the impact of individuals and organisations.
Our sector is rapidly evolving and we look forward to an engaging, dynamic, and inspiring conference experience in June 2025.
