Bonnie is a Registered Nurse with 25 years of experience, blending hands-on clinical expertise with a deep commitment to advocacy and social justice. With a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Human Rights, she is passionate about harm reduction and ensuring the voices of people with lived and living experience drive meaningful change in the AOD sector.
Throughout her career, she has worked in diverse settings, including the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre and the Alcohol & Drug Service, where she provided expert clinical support and championed person-centred care. Now, as a Sector Development Project Officer at ATDC, she focuses on strengthening the sector through capacity building, collaboration and workforce development—always with a commitment to dignity, autonomy, and evidence-based practice.
When not working to improve AOD services, you’ll find Bonnie out in nature, bushwalking, hiking, practising yoga, or doting on her dog, who may or may not be the true centre of her universe.
