The ATDC and DEN invite you to join us at the lunchtime launch of International Overdose Awareness Month.
Join us in honoring those affected by overdose as we hear from our guest speaker, fold cranes, and discuss how you can support us in promoting increased community awareness of overdose.
Please mark your calendar and register your interest in this event on Thursday, 1 August, 2024, from 12.00-1.00pm.
This year’s launch day will focus on remembrance, paying tribute to those we have lost while also providing an opportunity to fold cranes of hope, symbolising our collective commitment to the campaign.
Origami papers will be available for crane folding at the following locations from July onwards:
- Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Council TAS: Lv1, St.1 175 Collins Street, Hobart
- Anglicare Tasmania: 122 Elizabeth Street, Launceston
- Youth, Family and Community Connections: 129 Wilson Street, Burnie
- The Salvation Army: 111 Elizabeth Street, Launceston
