The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) represents the political and community development aspirations of the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, and provides a wide range of services including community advocacy, aged care program, children’s services, counselling, legal services and a dental health program.
The TAC’s Aboriginal Health Service Alcohol and Other Drugs program is designed to help people struggling with dependencies to live happily without alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, and to help adults, children and families learn more productive ways of coping with life’s challenges. This service is free and confidential.
