Dr Amy Peacock is an Associate Professor, National Health and Medical Research Council Emerging Leadership Fellow and Deputy Director of the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales, and an Adjunct Researcher in the School of Psychology, University of Tasmania. She is Program Lead for Drug Trends, a national drug monitoring system operating for over twenty years and funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. She has published more than 150 journal articles and 120 reports on alcohol and other drug use and harms in Australia and internationally. Her research informs efforts to reduce the health, social, and economic harms associated with drug use, and enhance wellbeing and autonomy for people who use drugs.
