Narelle is married with 2 teenage children and has been a nurse for 25+ years. Over this time, Narelle has worked in a variety of clinical settings as well as teaching nursing at TasTAFE for 8 years. Since 2016, Narelle has been with Launceston City Mission in a variety of roles firstly as a Board member, then at Missiondale and currently General Manager Client Services. This role has expanded Narelle’s understanding of the bigger issues for the community managed ATOD sector. Narelle is passionate about developing leaders and supporting our workforce to expand their skills and knowledge. As an ATDC Board Director, Narelle uses her strong strategic and communication skills to support the sector to move forward particularly through advocacy. Narelle is significantly involved in the activities of the ATDC and has a good understanding of the current positions and where the needs are, and the future direction. Narelle has strong relationships with others in the sector and brings a balanced view and understanding to board interactions. Narelle is committed to the supporting the activities of the ATDC by bringing her strengths of activation, responsibility, focus and communication.
